Pure PK Tourney #8 is coming up! This will be the second of three level 24 tournaments. The event will be taking place Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at 2PM GMT (10AM EST) in Varrock Wilderness. Meet at Varrock east bank at the start time. The event will be streamed on the Beast Fable YouTube channel.

Rules:

• Maximum Level 24 Combat throughout your fights.
• Maximum armor allowed is full iron. Any cape and amulet can be used.
• Maximum defense level allowed is 2.
• No magic above fire strike.
• All fights will be 1v1.
• All participants should be fully fatigued (100% fatigue).
• Minimum 4 participants. If less than 4 pures are available, the tournament will be postponed or cancelled.
• Once the first fight has started, the tournament will not allow any late entrants.
• Team FFAs: At the start of a team FFA, all combatants must have a melee weapon equipped and attack with melee. After the first fights break out, then ranged and magic can be used.

Prizes:

Prize amounts fluctuate based on the number of participants that show up and compete in the tournament. For 5 or less participants, the lower end prizes will be awarded. For 8 or more participants, the higher end prizes will be given out.

• 1st Place - 500K - 1M GP, plus a special Discord rank titled Tournament Champion until the next tournament
• 2nd Place - 250K - 500K GP
• 3rd Place - 125K - 250K GP

Additional Info:

Each match will be picked randomly, and will consist of 2 rounds. The first round is not a deathmatch and either player can bank & resupply to initiate a Round 2. The 2nd round is a deathmatch, and whoever wins moves to the next fight. Running out of wild during the 2nd round is considered a forfeit. When a player wins the match, they should exit wilderness and stay with the other players that are on the edge of wild until their next fight.

Players who win matches stay alive and get to fight others, leading up to the semi-finals (final 4), and then a final match. When the final match is over, the winner of this match wins 1st place and the loser, 2nd place. Players that lost in the semi-finals will compete in a loser's bracket for 3rd place. (If there are 4 participants, the semi-finals are basically the first few fights.)

Loser's Bracket & Castle Events

When the loser's bracket has concluded, prizes will be given out. After this, there is usually an FFA or Team Fight at Castle between all the participants. Usually this is just for fun, but sometimes there will be a prize given out to the winner(s).
